Daddy also has a brother, and his family have two West Highland White Terriers, and they live in Worcestershire, quite far away from us. I met the eldest one, Rupert when I was little, as he came to stay with us. We had a lovely time and went to the beach together. Rupert had never seen the sea before, and had a great time running very fast, and catching balls thrown for other dogs, and then running away with them. It was very funny. I areally think Rupert is a bit of a tom-boy, but I like him very much.
After a while, Rupert got a sister called Gemma. We also get on very well together, and sometimes I go and stay at their home, and they still come here too. It is very nice having their company, and we never fall out or quarrel. Rupert and Gemma like to go on long walks, but I much prefer being carried in my bag.
Later that year, we went to Chichester for a week, this time in a cottage on a farm. That was a really good experience, as I met horses, cows, and other animals. I could not believe how big they were, and my Mummy laughed so much when we sniffed noses in greeting, as she said my head was about the same size as the horses nose !!
We all love Sussex, and the South Coast of England. Nearly all the places we go to eat let me in, as it is a very pet friendly place, and I sit on my feather cushion beside Mummy & Daddy. Because we have been going there for a few years now, sometimes people remember me, and say how nice it is to see me again. I like that a lot. We always go for a walk around the harbour in Emsworth, I can watch the swans and ducks, but they do make such a funny noise and flap their wings, and I am glad that I am not in the water like them !
